Ahead of the 2023 general election, an activist, Deji Adyango, sent a message to Nigerians, warning against electoral fraud.
With the introduction of the Biometric Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), many Nigerians are optimistic that fraud may be a thing of the past in the country’s electoral system.
But those with this kind of optimism, Adyango said, do not know that Nigerian politicians can do this.
He said, “People who say BVAS will help solve electoral fraud don’t know Nigerian politicians. SMH!”
In a post on his social media account, Adyango tasked opposition parties to focus on how to prevent fraud in polling units.
“The desperate opposition in Nigeria should focus on how to prevent fraud in polling units or split their vote in favor of Tinubu and stop making noise everywhere,” he said.
