Atiku’s spokesperson for the Okwa Presidential Campaign Council, Daniel Bwala, talks about why his manager, Atiku Abubakar, is in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, United Arab Emirates, amid the ongoing presidential campaigns.
Bwala made the revelation while answering questions on Arise Television’s Morning Show on Wednesday.
He said Atiku took time away to reflect and freshen up again like he was during the holiday.
The former deputy added that anyone has the right to go anywhere in the world they wish to go during a vacation.
In fact we were the first political party to start a campaign. In fact, from the founding of the Campaign Council and the launch of the Campaign, in a short period of time we have covered quite a number of places. And we broke down our campaign approaches in campaigning at rallies and campaigning in town halls with consultations.
But you should also remember that we are guided by our own calendar, not another political party’s. And based on our calendar, you would have noticed that as of the 21st or thereabouts, we had a holiday, and that was the period when he (Atiku) took time away to meditate and freshen up again.
“On campaigns, at least you step back once in a while to freshen yourself up, refresh yourself, and refresh yourself with ideas of how to move forward. During holidays, anyone has the right to go wherever in the world they wish to go.
“Campaigning is not only the formation of the presidential candidate, the vice-presidential candidate was on the ground involved. Then we also have campaign officers,” Bwala said.
