The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Senate candidate in central Ogun, Olumaide Aderinokon, removed the fear that the PDP’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, might marginalize the people of the south if elected.
Being from the north, some Nigerians raised suspicions that Atiku’s presidency would mean another opportunity for the northerners at the expense of the south.
But during his tour of the Odiida local government, Atiku was described by Adirenokun as a monotheist.
According to him, Atiku is ready to unite Nigeria, saying “We are one and no one should think that he can marginalize our Nigeria for anything”.
Aderinokun asserted that Atiku would not favor any area while neglecting another.
Speaking further, the Ogun chief also described the PDP gubernatorial candidate of Ogun, Ladi Adepoto, as a compassionate fellow, who is preparing to improve Ogun State again by providing relief to the people of Ogun State.
He noted that Atiku, Adebutu and other PDP candidates can feel the “difficulties that everyone is going through under this current government,” saying, “The PDP is ready to make things better with our relief plan.”
