2023 Election Results: Deputy Majority Leader, Akpatasun wins Aku Edo federal constituency

Deputy House Majority Leader Hon Peter Akpatasun of the All Progressives Party has won the House of Representatives election to represent the Akoko-Edo federal constituency for a record fourth term.

Professor Robert Okunji, ranking officer of the Independent National Election Commission, revealed that Akbatasun scored 14,982 votes to defeat Hun Kabiru Adjoto of the People’s Democratic Party, who got 9,293 votes, while the Workers’ Party got 7,993 votes.
