The Nigerian Christian Association (CAN), Kaduna State Chapter, hoped that God would do something great in Nigeria.
The Premier, Rev. John Joseph Hyap, has instructed Christians across the country to be zealous in prayer, especially in next year’s election for God’s chosen leaders to come out to lead the country’s affairs in the Lord’s way.
He said this after the assembly’s Christmas Carol on Sunday.
“Nigerians have suffered so much, and we believed that the Almighty Father, in His infinite mercy, would remember the country because He favored Mary to be the mother of Jesus Christ, the savior of the world,” he said.
He urged Nigerians to continue searching for the face of the Almighty in the affairs of the country and asked for God’s intervention to restore the country’s lost glory and take its place in the community of nations.
According to Reverend Hiyab, “The God we serve is a merciful God who showers his mercy not because of our righteousness but because he is merciful by faith who showers his mercy on the country and gives us God fearing a president and other leaders who will work for the complete restoration of the land in peace, unity and development.”
He believed that grace is coming for Nigeria, especially in the 2023 elections, but he instructed Nigerians to pray for God’s mercy on earth so that citizens may once again live in peace and harmony, saying it is the only way Nigerians can adequately support themselves. Show their potential to the whole world.
Win-Win Evangelical Church (ECWA) Secretary Rev. Yunosa Nadu also expressed his hope that Nigeria will improve and urged Christians to always preach peace and love to all Nigerians in order to support peaceful coexistence.
