Muslim and Christian clerics warned against electoral violence and voting on tribal and religious lines.
Mallam Aminu Baba Waziri, imam of the central mosque in Tucker, on Friday night called on the Muslim ummah to come out in droves to exercise their constitutional rights and vote for competent leaders.
He warned Muslim believers who will be questioned about the decisions they made for Nigeria on the Day of Judgment.
Also commenting on the elections, Pastor Daniel Azana advised the people to vote for the appropriate candidate who will help in the development of the country.
However, clerics warned the public against renouncing electoral violence and voting based on tribal and religious sentiments.
