Resident Elections Commissioner, REC, from Independent National Election Commission, INEC, in Ondo State, Amb. Rufus Akijo revealed that the Commission had received 3,933 Bilateral Voter Accreditation System, BVAS, ahead of the 2023 general election.
Akiju also revealed that the state commission has received 5,329 ballot boxes and 23,598 sleeping mattresses.
The PEC revealed this at a press conference held in Akure, the state capital while briefing reporters at the state commission headquarters in Alagpaka, Akure on the commission’s activities ahead of the elections.
According to him, more polling units have been set up in the state for easy access of voters in order to better serve the people.
The following sensitive and non-sensitive election materials have been delivered so far in Ondo State. BVAS, 3,933, polls, 5,329, sleeping mats, 23,598, gum, 4,130, and voting booths = 2,224″.
He also advised potential voters in the state to go to different departments to collect PVC so that they can participate in the electoral process.
