All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate Bola Tinubu has denied rushing off the stage at a campaign rally in Minna, Niger state.
Tinubu explained that the crowd that welcomed him was so huge that he had to address them briefly before attending other meetings in the state.
The APC flag bearer denied rumors that he hastily left the campaign stage due to his health condition.
He said the crowd at the rally was unprecedented.
He revealed this through a spokesperson for his campaign team, Bayou Onanuga.
Onanuga’s statement read: “A large crowd of APC supporters welcomed the presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to Mina on Wednesday, where he had arrived to take part in the massive rally.
The cheering crowd was unprecedented, according to reporters at the Trade Fair Complex, the gathering venue.
Tinubu, who had organized another successful rally in Kaduna on Tuesday, arrived in Minna the same evening for a series of meetings with APC leaders.
Recently, some political stakeholders have questioned Tinubu’s health.
They noted that Tinubu may not be able to serve as President of Nigeria due to his alleged health condition.
