Osun Governor, Ademola Adeleke on Tuesday pledged to work closely with the state House of Representatives.
Adeleke gave the confirmation in a meeting with the Speaker of the House, Timothy Owoeye, at his home in Ede County.
The governor said he needed the legislature’s cooperation to implement the five-point agenda.
Adeleke, who made controversial decisions after his inauguration, described the legislature as an important arm of government.
He noted that legislators play an important role in efforts to achieve good governance, accountability and leadership.
Oye reassured Adeleke of the legislature’s willingness to support his administration in keeping its promises.
Adeleke was sworn in on Sunday alongside his deputy, Kola Adewusi.
