Former Aston Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor has named him the best goalkeeper in the world at the moment.
According to the former England star, Aston Villa star Emiliano Martinez is the best goalkeeper in the world.
Martinez helped Argentina win the World Cup in Qatar earlier this month. He kept three clean sheets in the process.
Agbonlahor believes there is no one else better than the 30-year-old Argentine who also made a series of saves during the final to ensure South America won their third World Cup.
Agbonlahor was asked on Amazon Prime if he thinks Martinez is one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League, and the former Premier League striker said: “I think he’s the best goalkeeper in the world.
“I mean, some of the saves he made throughout the tournament.
“He comes back as the best goalkeeper in the world.”
