The Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC) on Friday released Oladabo Oyebanjo, better known by his stage name D’banj, who was arrested and detained over allegations of transferring N-Power funds.

The popular singer who was arrested on Wednesday was alleged to have colluded with some politicians and banks to transfer money.

According to Vanguard, the singer was released on Friday after three days of detention by the committee as the investigation continues.

The music star has been released on the understanding that he may be recalled later for further investigations.

Recall that Debanj’s lawyer, Belome Olajengbezi, demanded, in a statement, the release of his client, and asked the National Assembly to delve into the matter by investigating the allegations against him.
