Social and political commentator Deji Adiango said on Sunday that the Labor Party, presidential candidate Peter Obi, will take responsibility for the results of the 2023 presidential election.
Adyango said the political class would blame Obi if the All Progressives Party, the General People’s Congress, presidential candidate, Paula Tinubu, wins in 2023.
He noted that the former Governor of Anambra State was not running for the presidency but against Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party.
In a tweet, the Abuja-based activist noted that Obi will become a political pariah after the 2023 elections.
He wrote: “Peter Obi is not running for president. He is only running against Atiku and his former party, the People’s Democratic Party, and after Tinubu’s victory in February, all of Nigeria’s political class will blame him for Tinubu’s victory.
He will become a political pariah in Nigeria. If Kwankwaso could only work with him, his chances might change.
“I am very happy to mock all those who insulted me for my criticism of Atiku, Peter Obi and Kwankwaso; and of the disorganized, divided and unserious opposition in February after they handed victory to Tinubu.”
During the last presidential election, Obi was Atiku’s deputy in the running before withdrawing to LP.
Since joining the LP, Obi’s fame has spread across Nigeria as Forest fires.
