Bayelsa Queens players have been rewarded with N28 million by the Bayelsa State Government after their impressive performance in the 2022 CAF Women Champions League.
The boom girls who participated in the competition for the first time came in third place.
The players and their officials visited Bayelsa State Governor Doi Dire at his office on Thursday.
Each of the 21 first-team players will receive N1m, while each of the 14 reserve players will receive N1 500,000.
Coach Domo Okara received N1.1 million, assistants N500,000 each, support staff N300,000 each and all board members received N1.5 million.
Bayelsa Queens also received $200,000 from CAF.
