Nigerian singer Blaqbonez revealed that he stopped watching people’s stories on Instagram and Snapchat 4 years ago. The “Leader” singer explained that he did it because watching always makes him feel less of himself.
He tweeted: “4 years ago I stopped watching people’s IG & Snapchat stories because it always makes me feel less like myself, people always seemed to have such a perfect life, and I told myself I wouldn’t let them bother me. I still don’t watch people’s stories.”
In other news: The Nigerian Rising Singer, Lita, spoke about his reason for leaving Olamide. He shared more details about why he left YBNL, the record label owned by Olamide, the music heavyweight. Lyta joined YBNL in 2018.
However, he left the record company in 2019, following a highly publicized dispute with the company’s president. Speaking about why he’s leaving the music company, in a recent interview, the 24-year-old artist said he heard a lot of “whispers” from friends in the industry and was “confused”.
However, Lyta did not provide further details about the nature of the rumors he had heard about YBNL. “It’s just confusion. I was probably confused.
Then when I left “Temi,” I met new people in the industry and there were a lot of things like that, and friends who were already in the industry were whispering things to me,” he said in a mix of English and Pidgin. “I’m a little boy, I can’t To say I was a little boy but there were so many things I didn’t know which to believe.
“Some people just randomly got into my head. I can’t even blame myself because I think it’s normal for up-and-coming artists who don’t understand the industry.”
In 2019, the ‘Formula’ singer also stated that he left the label because he wasn’t given the freedom he wanted. He emphasized that the poster contained a calendar of music release which contrasted with the number of times he intended to release new songs.
