President Muhammadu Buhari offered his heartfelt condolences to former First Lady Maryam Abacha and her family on the death of their son Abdullah.
Garba Shekhu, Buhari’s chief special assistant for media and publicity, said the president’s “prayers and thoughts are with the Abacha family as they mourn the passing of young Abdullah.”
“The president prays for the comfort of the soul of the deceased and solace for those who grieve.”
Abdullah Abacha died in the early hours of Saturday morning, according to his sister, Jomso.
