Manchester United boss Eric Ten Hag has warned Alejandro Garnacho that he must continue to take the right attitude to play regularly.
The 18-year-old was introduced in the second half of the Carabao Cup match with Aston Villa.
The exciting striker helped United to a fine win, after the hosts fell behind with an Ole Watkins goal.
Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford, Bruno Fernandes and Scott McTominay scored as Garnacho provided assists during his cameo as United won 4-2.
“I think it was good that when he came he showed a performance that made an impact in the game.
“Can he have a regular role? Depends on how he approaches, and his attitude, when he continues to work.
“If he maintains the attitude he wants to improve every day and does the right things in his lifestyle, it is possible,” said Tin Hag.
United meet Fulham on Sunday in their last game before the clubs kick off on a break for the 2022 World Cup.
