Christmas: Work hard to secure Nigerians – says PFN to FG

In its congratulatory message for this year’s Christmas celebration, the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN urged the Federal Government to do more to protect Nigerians.

The Fellowship made the announcement on Saturday in a statement made by its media director, Simbu Olorunfimi.

According to the statement, the PFN’s national president, Bishop Francis Wallock, said Christmas is not just another celebration; It is a reminder of God’s goodness and mercy.

He encouraged Nigerians not to be complacent in their prayers for God’s will to overcome Nigeria’s challenges.

“Christmas is not just another celebration; it is a reminder of God’s goodness and the fulfillment of His promise of redemption. It speaks of hope, joy, and a new beginning, and reminds us that no matter how long it takes to unfold, God’s plan will never fail and never falter.”

While the National President of the National People’s Front sympathized with the families and victims of terrorist and violent attacks in different parts of the country, he prayed for them at this time of comfort and strength. He called on the government and security men to work harder to ensure the security of Nigerians, reminding them that the security of people’s lives and property is the primary responsibility of the government.

He urged the government not to relent in its efforts until the perpetrators of heinous crimes are caught and brought to justice.

He called for the vigilance and participation of all Nigerians in the electoral process to ensure transparency and fairness in next year’s elections.

“Our prayer is that this year’s celebration of the birth of our Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, will usher in a new birth in every region of our country so that Nigerians can experience full joy as citizens of Nigeria. We wish all Nigerians a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year.”
