The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced that the ACP’s senatorial candidate, Jibreen Ekosho, is the winner of the senatorial seat in Kogi East.
The official in charge of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Professor Musa Ibrahim, announced the result in Idah, the seat of the Kogi East District Senator.
Ibrahim said Ikochu scored 108,784 votes, the highest against Victor Adoje of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) who scored 81,867 votes.
Ikucho is the current Senator representing the Kogi East Senatorial District in the National Assembly.
