Election results: You will be disgraced – Fanny Kayode Lamlai for being out at the assembly centre
Former Senator for Kogi West, Bola Tinubu-Shettima All Progressives Conference, APC, Presidential Campaign Spokesperson, Femi Fani-Kayode, mocked Dino Melaye for walking out of the National Assembly Center in Abuja.
Fanny Kayode said Malay and the HDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, would be disgraced.
He indicated that the election results will be announced whether Malays are in the counting center or not.
The Malayi People’s Democratic Party and former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, President Emeka Ehideoha, has led some political parties to withdraw from the National Alliance Center in Abuja.
They expressed their dissatisfaction with the Independent National Electoral Commission regarding the announcement of the election results.
IEC Chairman Professor Mahmud Yakubu warned Malay not to “disrupt” the aggregation process. The leader of the PDP insisted that the results announced should have been uploaded first to the INEC Results Presentation Portal (iReV) for the sake of transparency and accountability.
In response, Fanny Kayode tweeted: “Going out does not mean you will escape disgrace at the polls. Whether you are there or not, the results will be announced.”
“You lost. Face it. Tell your boss to lick his wounds, bury his head in shame, and come back to Dubai for good. Stop crying like a child who has soiled himself.”
