English Premier League: Merson predicts the title winners after victory for Arsenal and Man City on Saturday

Sky Sports analyst Paul Merson says Arsenal will win the Premier League after their sensational comeback from victory over Bournemouth.

Arsenal restored their five-point lead over Manchester City with a 3-2 win over Bournemouth on Saturday.

Mikel Arteta’s men trailed 2-0 thanks to goals from Philip Billing and Marco Senesi.

But goals from Thomas Partey, Ben White and Reiss Nelson saw Arsenal get the most points.

When asked if he thought Arsenal’s name was included in the Premier League Cup, Merson said: “I think they won the league, I really do.

“They keep going back and forth; they don’t know when they’re going to get hit. That’s four straight wins now.”

“They’re back against Aston Villa too, I think they did great and if they win their next three games, I don’t see how they won’t win the league.”
