Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta revealed that the players are ready to face the injured Gabriel Jesus in his team.
Arsenal are looking for additions to the squad and the January transfer window is seen as a golden opportunity to do so.
But Arteta said in his press conference before the Boxing Day match against West Ham United that Gabriel Martinelli could move into the attacking position.
He also suggested midfielder Smith Rowe is another potential option for Jesus’ position.
“It is impossible to replace him [Jesus]. But we have other players, other substitutes.
“We have other alternatives where we can play Martinelli up front as well.
“We are currently a little short in terms of positions offered but we are getting Emile [Smith Rowe] It will be a great comeback.”
