Bukayo Saka, the young Arsenal player, has admitted that he regrets not meeting the legendary manager, Arsene Wenger.
Wenger stepped down from his position at Emirates Airlines in May 2018.
Saka then made his debut under the Frenchman’s successor, Unai Emery, in November 2018.
Wenger has not returned to the club since leaving, and Saka has had no contact with the 73-year-old.
“One of my biggest regrets – well, not my regrets but the things I’ve been able to do – is not meeting Arsene Wenger.
“I know how much my father loves him and how much everyone at the club loves him and what he has done for the club.”
Saka is currently with England at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
