Veteran British broadcaster Piers Morgan demanded that Manchester United coach Eric Ten Hag apologize to Al-Nasr striker Cristiano Ronaldo for disrespecting him.
Morgan told Ten Hag to take a knee and apologize to Ronaldo for disrespecting the 37-year-old during his time at Old Trafford.
Ronaldo brazenly left Manchester United last November after mutually agreeing to terminate his contract with the Premier League giants.
The Portugal captain sat down with Morgan ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar and gave an insulting assessment of his time under ten Hag.
Ronaldo, who refused to play as a late substitute against Tottenham this season, claimed the former Ajax coach disrespected him.
However, when asked if he would apologize to Ten Hag for comments he made about the Dutchman’s handling of Ronaldo if Man United had a successful season,
Morgan responded on talkSPORT: “Absolutely not. I expect Ten Hag to get down on his knees and apologize to Cristiano Ronaldo for the shocking disrespect shown him.”
