Kelechi Iheanacho was the hero as Leicester City beat Gillingham 2-1 in their FA Cup third round tie at Priestfield on Saturday afternoon.
Iheanacho scored the winning goal four minutes before the hour mark after being headed in by Jamie Vardy.
Since the Nigeria international’s debut in the competition in 2016 for Manchester City, no player has scored more goals than him in the competition.
The 26-year-old has scored 16 goals in 22 matches in the competition.
Iheanacho’s international teammate Wilfred Ndidi came on as a substitute in the match.
Ndidi replaced Senegalese midfielder Mendy nine minutes from time.
At Selhurst Park, Joe Aribo put in an impressive performance in Southampton’s 2-1 win over Crystal Palace.
Aribou had been in action for 87 minutes before being replaced by Ibrahima Diallo.
