Family, fans attend memorial service for rapper Tykov

Friends, fans and family attended the memorial service held in honor of American rapper Tykov on Friday at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta. Kirchnik Paul, Tykov, a member of the hip-hop trio Migos, was shot and killed in Houston last Saturday.
The Daily Mail reported that the rappers’ lives and their music were celebrated at the memorial service with activities such as musical performances, prayers and poems.
Among the musicians who have paid tribute to the late rappers are Drake, Justin Bieber, Ja Roll, Cardi B, Chloe Bailey, and others. In a lengthy post on her Instagram page, Cardio B mourned the late rapper, noting that she was saddened by his passing.
She wrote, “Takeoff, your sudden death has brought a great deal of pain and grief to so many lives.
“The impact you have made in this world has been so great and we have struggled to absorb this tragedy. I feel sad but grateful for all the precious memories we shared when you were here with us.” This has truly been a nightmare and incomparable pain.
“The emptiness your siblings feel is unbearable and I pray that you give Offset, Quavo and your friends and family the strength to keep moving forward as they try to overcome this loss.” In 2018, Takeoff founded Migos with his uncle Quavo and cousin Offset – who is married to Cardi B.
