A fire has reportedly destroyed the office of the National Open University of Nigeria in Dutse, Jigawa State.
A source told DAILY POST that the accident in the early hours of Saturday consumed office furniture and other valuables. He explained that the state’s fire service, other security services and the Good Samaritans helped put out the flame that broke out for an hour.
An NSCDC spokesperson, Adamu Shehu, confirmed the incident to DAILY POST.
He said that Hell destroyed Noon’s office on the fourth floor of the Federal Secretariat in Dutse. He explained that the cause of the fire is still unknown.
He also indicated that the efforts of the security services helped prevent the flame from spreading to other parts of the Municipality complex.
Shehu revealed that the investigation into the fire was continuing.
