Five Nigerians arrested for drug trafficking in South Africa

Five Nigerians have been arrested for drug possession in Pretoria, South Africa.

The suspects were arrested on Tuesday in Garsfontein by members of the Chuan Metro Police (TMPD) drug unit.

And the unit announced, in a statement, that the banned substances have an estimated market value of about half a million rand.

TMPD agents respond to a tip-off about a white Suzuki that was transporting drugs on Atterbury Road.

Then a team of officers tracked the carrier to his residence in the compound.

In the apartment, the police found four suspects who packed heroin (nyaope) and crystal meth.

They were all arrested for drug trafficking and possession. Well done team,” the statement noted.
