Flutterwave, world record holder Toby Amusan, to launch end mobile dollars for African diasporas

Flutterwave, Africa’s leading payments technology company, has unveiled $endmobile, an app to facilitate faster and easier money transfer from expatriates to the African continent.

Flutterwave also signed Nigerian-born Tobi Amusan, the Women’s 100m Hurdles World Record holder as an ambassador for $endmobile; A decision the company says is due to their similarity in speed and flexibility.

Available on the Play Store and App Store, the new app aims to enhance customer experience by improving speed, transparency and the ability to get user funds to their destination despite obstacles.

Other key features of the Send Mobile app include Apple Pay, which will allow Apple device users to seamlessly transact from their mobile wallets, an improved activity section that tracks real-time transactions and a new voucher code section that allows users to create voucher cards.

How to use $end:
– recording on Android or iOS; Add your email address/phone number and create a password
– Click the “Send Now” button
Enter the money transfer details i.e. amount, sending currency/country, and receiving currency/country
– Review the transaction and send money

“I’m excited to be so much a part of a product that I already use and love. I’m always on the go, but I also have a lot of family in Nigeria,” said Amusan.

“$end has helped me stay in touch with them by attending to their needs as much as I can. I am delighted to be the face of this product for the African diaspora.”

Flutterwave Founder and CEO, Olugbenga ‘GB’ Agboola noted that it’s exciting that Amusan is a $end ambassador.

“I would say it’s a perfect match because of its speed, its efficiency on the trails and of course the speed of $endmobile in delivering cross-border conversions.

Send Mobile will help improve the speed and efficiency of transferring money from the diaspora to the African continent for fees, real estate, health, maintenance and even for investments. We are excited about all the possibilities this collaboration brings,” Agbola added.
