Independent National Electoral Commission officials have refused to upload the results of the presidential election in Lagos, Delta-LB

The Labor Party has raised the alarm by claiming that some officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, have refused to upload the results of the presidential elections in Lagos and Delta states.

The party’s national chairman, Julius Aburi, raised the alarm in a statement he issued on Saturday night.

According to him, the results collected in the various polling units in the states are not uploaded to the central server of the Electoral College.

Aburi claimed that in places such as Agege, Kosofe, Oshodi-Isolo, Surulere and Ibeju Lekki, among others where results showed Labor had won convincingly, INEC officials claimed that BVAS had ceased operations.

“For example, in Kosofe, they put the comparison center in the local government district headquarters. The place is surrounded by APC and people fear for their lives. They said they are not uploading, they have instructed to insist that BVAS is defective.

And we won most places, but they refused to charge us.

“As I speak, APC officials are in the Yaba office negotiating with the officials. What I said is now happening in Ajiji, Kosovo, Oshodi-Isulu and Surulere,” the statement added.
