The Commissioner of Police, Zamfara State Command, Mr. Kolo Yusuf held meetings with the Commander, Combined Task Force, Operation Hadarien Daji and the General Officer Commanding 8th Division, Nigerian Army Sokoto, Major General U Basi to strategize on how best to deal with the insecurity resulting from the teething gripping the state in its entirety.
According to a press release issued to reporters in Gosau, the state capital, by the state police spokesman, S.P. Mohamed Shehu, the meeting came within the efforts of the State Police Chief to enhance inter-agency working collaboration for effective service delivery in the state.
In his statements, Youssef praised the region’s commander for the wise leadership that generated effective cooperation and synergy among all the security services in the country.
The Daily Post gathered that the meeting was aimed at forming a strong and well-coordinated security network that would drive out terrorists from the entire country.
The commissioner and his entourage were warmly received by the commander of the armed forces, after which the commissioner witnessed the award of the newly promoted officers to the division.
