The Kaduna State government on Saturday commended the Nigerian Air Force for rescuing seven Chinese expatriates from the kidnappers’ lair.
The Daily Post reports that the Nigerian Air Force, Special Forces of the 271st NAF Regiment carried out the operation in Kambanin Doka and Guaska areas of Birnin Gwari LGA, and succeeded in rescuing the seven expatriates who were kidnapped more than five months ago.
Samuel Arwan, Commissioner of the Department of Homeland Security and Home Affairs, in a statement expressed his sincere gratitude to God for the successful operations.
He added that Governor Nasser Al-Rifai expressed his satisfaction with the report, and praised the Chief of the Air Staff, as well as the commander and men of the 271 NAF Detachment, for the daring operation carried out by the Special Forces.
