The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Lagos State lost another influential member, Chief Juliana Odogan, popularly known as Eya Onyan.
She led a large women’s group that mobilized the grassroots across the state for party functions.
The deceased, in her 70s, died on Tuesday at the University of Lagos Teaching Hospital (LUTH).
Ms. O’Duogan was admitted for treatment for an illness.
Eya Onian was a canteen yam merchant who supplied the state headquarters and offices during the Bola Tinubu administration.
Her son Niyi Odogan announced the death of the respected political icon in Mushin.
Nie is the supervisory advisor for the Ogoye Local Council Development Area (LCDA).
Eya Onian died on the same day as the Lagos State Assembly Member, Abdulsabr Olayola Olawale.
The late MP, known as Umtiti, represented the constituency of Mochin II State.
He fell at Rawang Pam Township Stadium in Jos while raising the flag from Tinubu’s presidential campaign.
