The Daily Post reported that the flyers caused concern among residents who feared the fire was sabotage.

New Media Assistant Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Gabriel Jawat, provided an explanation on Twitter this evening.

The official explained that a diesel truck caught fire near the blue railway.

Our guys at Lagos Fire Service @LagosRescue and others contained it right.

“The fire has disappeared since 1:30 pm today. No casualties. The railway line is unaffected,” Gawat tweeted.
