Lagos: Police relocate Aja Squad officers after the death of Bulan Rahim and Javaro Premoh
Lagos State Police Command transferred all Aja Division officers, days after the shooting of Bulanle Rahim and Javaru Premoh.
Bolanle and Gavaro were killed on December 7 and 25 by trigger happy policemen attached to Agioi Police Station.
On Monday, the public relations officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, said all employees had been transferred.
The officers will be replaced by their colleagues from other departments.
“The Commissioner of Police, CP Abiodun Alabi has already transferred all the personnel of the department.
“This will be fully realized in a couple of days,” Hundin revealed.
The spokesperson also confirmed that the new Aje District Police Officer (DPO), CSP Adolf Ogwu, had dismantled all the bungalows around the station.
However, the Lagos leadership urged citizens to “say something whenever they see something”.
