Former Governor of Jigawa State Dr. Sole Lamido has handed over his polling unit to HDP, DPP, presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar.
Mr. Lamido was earlier not recognized by the Biometric Voter Accreditation System (BVAS) after following a long line to cast his ballot at Pamina Elementary School II’s polling unit.
But the former ruler decided to let those behind him continue. He later returned for accreditation.
Reacting to the BVAS failure, Lamido called it “human error”.
