Messi joins rival Ronaldo at Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia after PSG claim – Al-Attiyah
Al-Attiyah, the racing driver, confirmed that Paris Saint-Germain striker Lionel Messi will follow Al-Nasr star Cristiano Ronaldo to Saudi Arabia after his contract with the Parisian team expired.
Al-Attiyah, the Dakar champion and captain of the current edition, insisted that it would be difficult for Messi to return to Barcelona after playing with Paris Saint-Germain.
“It is difficult for Messi to return to Barcelona after PSG. Paris Saint-Germain is a rich club and they have a clear plan,” Al-Attiyah told Mundo Deportivo.
“What I think now is that one of the Arab clubs will sign Messi in a few months. And I can tell you which one: I’m sure he will go to Al-Hilal.”
He added, “He will not return to Barcelona. He will go to Saudi Arabia, like Ronaldo. There is a lot of money here, and the players are looking for a big contract.”
