Adams Oshiomhole revealed his conversation with a minister regarding funds for road construction in Nigeria.
The Progressive Congress (APC) candidate for North Edo, the senator is a former chairperson of the party.
The former Edo governor spoke Friday at the opening of the APC campaign in Oshi, Western Itsaku Local Government District.
Oshiomhole stated that he is troubled by the way the National Assembly manages privatization bills.
Noting that the budget should work for the citizens, the politician said he did not want to be a senator involved in grinding machines, motorcycles and tricycles (kiki).
Oshiomhole promised to properly represent the common people as he did when he was a labor leader.
The Minister of Works told me that the reason for the incomplete construction of roads is that the National Assembly takes half the money allocated in the budget.
“This is why there are incomplete roads all over Nigeria,” Nan quoted him as saying.
