Normal work resumed in Kaduna on Tuesday after the end of the New Year holiday declared by the federal government.
Many government offices visited across the state on Tuesday remained closed, and only a few were seen exchanging pleasantries and congratulating themselves on seeing the new year 2023.
A civil servant who spoke to the DAILY POST anonymously said some officials have not yet returned to work, adding that he is expecting his boss next week.
Work has just resumed today and as you know, this is the start of the new year. Junior officials and low-status public servants must be in the office to clean the Ouja table before he comes. And, as usual, this is the beginning of the year when serious matters have not yet crystallized.
