Nigerian Army, DSS rescue a kidnapped female officer, stripped by unknown gunmen [VIDEO]
The Nigerian Army and the Ministry of Government Services on Thursday rescued Lieutenant BB Johnson who was kidnapped by unknown gunmen.
The army officer was taken to a forest on the border with Enugu State and the Ihope Okigwe Local Government Area in Imo State.
The gang stripped the female officer, from Abia State, and videotaped her on December 26, Boxing Day.
The voice behind the recording said the location was along the Enugu Highway that connects to Port Harcourt, the capital of rivers.
Johnson was kidnapped when she traveled to her hometown to celebrate Christmas.
The victim died on December 17 after completing the short direct service course.
The Daily Mail gathered that the Army’s leadership was turned to action after Johnson was reported missing.
It is suspected that the recording, which was circulated on the Internet, may have helped the security services track down the kidnappers.
