Nnamdi Kanu: IPOB accuses Malami of trying to destroy the criminal justice system

The Indigenous Peoples of Biafra, IPOB, on Sunday accused the Attorney General of the Federation, AGF, Abubakar Malami of trying to destroy Nigeria’s criminal justice and judicial system.

The IPOB’s statement came as the filing emphasized that “dead accusations” against Kano are an insult to the court’s ruling to release Kano.

Remember, the federal government has filed an amended case of seven counts against Kano.

The indictment of IPOB spokesman Emma Purful accused Malamy of ridiculing the judicial system.

Payfull said filing the amended lawsuit after the appeals court’s ruling was an insult to the court’s ruling.

A statement from Powerful reads in part: “We, the International Family and Indigenous Movement of Biafra (IPOB) led by Nnamdi Okochokwu Kano, ably condemn the new amended rumors brought by Malami and his followers against the indefatigable Kano, even after the Court of Appeal acquitted and acquitted him of all allegations criminal.

“This is a clear indication that Malami is really a SAN quota system that has no business or knowledge close to the legal profession.

“Our simple understanding and knowledge is that the court ruling is a problem for the Mallame government and the APC government, it’s no wonder, under Mallame ruling as the chief legal officer of the union, he has been ranked among the most corrupt legal officials and his department is currently embroiled in a large number of corruption allegations disturbing the embezzlement of funds the public.

“If the Prosecutor General Mallami likes him, let him go to his home state of Kebbi and bring new charges in a Sharia court against our indefatigable leader Kano, he is not only wasting his time but is making fun of his alleged legal training and Nigeria’s judiciary.

“The era of petty charges against Kano is gone forever.”

The Abuja Court of Appeal had acquitted Kano of all terrorism charges against him.

Despite the court order, the Nigerian government refused to release the IPOB leader.

Kanu has been in detention since last year when he was arrested in Kenya and returned to Nigeria.

Following his arrest, the Nigerian government resubmitted him to appear before a Federal High Court in Abuja.
