Presidential candidate of the New Nigerian People’s Party (NNPP) Alhaji Rabio Musa Kwankwaso has suffered yet another setback as the deputy candidate for Governor of Niger State Mr. John Bahago has resigned from the party.
The Daily Post reports that the party chief in Kaduna state on Thursday resigned his appointment because, according to him, the party had derailed.
Speaking at a press conference in Kaduna on Thursday, he noted that while he still holds Kwankwaso in high esteem, he is not interested in being a member of the party anymore because the party is “not entirely on the ground in Kaduna State.”
