NPFL: Benue government hands over Aper Aku Stadium to contractor for renovation

Benue State Government has handed over Aber Ako Stadium, Makurdi to a contractor for renovation works.

Moni Michelle Sports will handle the renovations.

It is noteworthy that the state government, the owner of the Lobi Stars Football Club, recently approved the amount of 24 meters to develop the Abir Ako stadium with modern facilities.

Lobi Stars played its home matches at New Juice Stadium this season after Abir Ako Stadium failed to meet the requirements of the Interim Management Committee (IMC).

Coach Mohamed Baba Janaro’s team is expected to return home before the end of the season.

Lobi Stars are currently sitting at the top of the Group B table of the Nigerian Premier League (NPFL).
