Premier League: Arsenal legend, Ian Wright hands over the name of a Manchester United player to sign
Arsenal legend Ian Wright has urged Manchester United to sign Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane in the summer transfer window.
Kane, 29, has long been linked with a move to Man United but this summer looks like the Red Devils’ last realistic chance to sign the England captain,
The striker also attracted the interest of players such as Chelsea, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
Kane will be in the final year of his contract this summer.
Talks have yet to open over a new extension, and Wright believes Kane would be the right number 9 for Man United.
“[Manchester United] Harry Kane is really far from kicking [next season],” Wright told The Kelly and Wrighty Show.
When you look at Wout Weghorst… yeah I was surprised he got out of No. 9 [role] To No. 10 and making things happen…but if that’s the plan, Harry Kane is the perfect person to do it.
“Marcus Rashford like this, Alejandro Garnacho at his pace… if Anthony continues…
“You just feel that Man United isn’t a million miles away [from winning Premier League titles]. “
