Premier League: Arsene Wenger returns to Arsenal
Legendary Arsenal manager, Arsene Wenger, finally returned to the Emirates on Monday night to visit West Ham in the Premier League.
The 73-year-old stepped down from his position in the summer of 2018.
He was initially replaced by Unai Emery, before Mikel Arteta was appointed in December 2019.
Wenger now serves as FIFA’s Head of Global Football Development.
He was in charge of Arsenal for 22 years between 1996 and 2018 and notably won the 2003/2004 Premier League title without losing a single match.
Arsenal entered the match against the Hammers with a five-point lead at the top of the table.
