Premier League: Chelsea decide to sack Potter after losing 1-0 to Southampton

Chelsea will not sack Graham Potter as manager despite a 1-0 defeat by Southampton on Saturday.

James Ward-Prowse’s free kick in the first half proved to be the winner at Stamford Bridge.

The team was booed off the field at half time and at full time.

There were also more calls for Potter’s sacking by the club’s supporters.

But according to the UK Telegraph, there is no change in the Chelsea board’s position on Potter.

The former Brighton manager still has the support of co-owner Todd Boyley.

Chelsea are still in 10th place with 31 points.
