“Don’t call me!” Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola told national team managers who want their players to rest at the World Cup this weekend.
Guardiola said this before the last round of Premier League matches before the start of the tournament in Qatar.
The Spaniard made it clear that he would not rotate his team with Brentford, in other countries to help the countries that will play in the tournament.
“We will certainly not rest players for the national teams.
“I didn’t get any of it [calls] It is not necessary to contact me. Guardiola told a news conference on Friday.
He added, “It’s the last match, most players leave immediately after the match for the national team. They are packing their bags and this is a dangerous thing.”
Guardiola said he will not attend the World Cup matches in Qatar, but will instead return to Barcelona, before returning to Manchester on December 5.
