Premier League: Graham Potter never quits – Darren Bent names Chelsea’s best player to date

Former Tottenham Hotspur star Darren Bent has named Thiago Silva as Chelsea’s most consistent player this season.

According to him, the 35-year-old Brazil international never dismisses his coach whenever he is called upon.

The Blues haven’t achieved much since Thomas Tuchel was sacked by new owners led by Todd Bohle.

The Blues remained inconsistent under Graham Potter, managing only 20 runs in 16 matches.

They are currently seven points adrift of fourth place with Potter trying different styles of play and using different players in different positions as he tries to build a team at Stamford Bridge.

Thiago Silva has remained solid in Chelsea’s defense and is seen as the Blues’ best player this season alongside the injured Reece James.

“I think that [Graham Potter]Still trying to find that consistency in the team.

“But Thiago Silva is the only one who can hold his head up every time he is called up and never let him down,” he said.
