Premier League: He’s very dangerous like Messi and Ronaldo – Zinchenko asks the referees to protect his Arsenal teammate
Arsenal full-back Oleksandr Zinchenko compared teammate Bukayo Saka with Paris Saint-Germain’s Lionel Messi and Al-Nassr’s Cristiano Ronaldo, insisting that the England international is very dangerous.
Zinchenko also called on the referees to protect Saka, saying the striker deserves the same amount of protection from referees that Messi and Ronaldo get.
Saka has been absolutely fantastic for Arsenal so far this season.
The 21-year-old has scored ten goals and recorded eight assists in 31 appearances across various competitions.
The Evening Standard quoted Zinchenko as saying, “Bukayo is an incredible player, all the defenders from other teams know he is very dangerous, so they try to provoke him and tackle him and the referees should know that.”
“We can talk about Messi, Cristiano, Neymar and players like that. The referees have to protect these kind of players. Apart from Bucayo, we have other players up front who are very dangerous and the referees need to be careful, they have to take care of them of course.”
