Premier League: I’m not convinced – Saha tells Manchester United not to sign the World Cup star

Ex-Manchester United striker Louis Saha has urged the Red Devils not to sign Netherlands World Cup striker Kody Jaco.

Saha said he was not convinced Jakobo would adapt well at Man United.

Gakpo has been linked with a move to join Man United in the January transfer window.

The 23-year-old, who currently plays for PSV, has scored 13 goals and provided 17 assists in 24 appearances for his club so far this season.

Speaking of Gakpo amid a link with Manchester United, Saha told Compare.bet: “He’s a very good player and he’s had a really good tournament.

“His performances on the biggest stage prove he can perform in the Premier League, he is extremely fast and scores goals for his club and national team.

“I would like to see him play at this level for another year or two.

“I’m not convinced that he should be signed right away and that he will be a good fit.”

The Frenchman added: “We’ve seen good players like Sancho struggle to get into the Premier League.

“We know Gakpo is a good player but would a move to United at this time be suitable for his development?”
