Manchester United coach Erik ten Hag has warned his team that he will continue to crack down on team discipline.
Last year, Ten Hag kicked Cristiano Ronaldo out of his squad and eventually agreed to terminate the 37-year-old’s contract.
Recently, the former Ajax coach sacked Marcus Rashford for showing up late to a team meeting.
Youngster Alejandro Garnacho was also punished by Ten Hag during their pre-season tour in the summer.
“If you want to create a winning attitude and culture, you have to go this way in my opinion.
“Everyone is going to do it their own way but if you allow them to be disorganized, if they don’t match the standards and the values and the rules that we have set together as a team and as an operator, if you don’t have that togetherness in the dressing room, then it will come back and blow up in your face,” Ten Hag said.
